ABOUT THE BUSINESS AND THE ROLE

We are a growing company looking to expand our Direct Support team with an escalation point Systems Engineer, whose primary role is to provide ITC support to our current and future clients along with adding a higher level of technical ability to the team.

30 years in the industry has provided us with a very solid foundation that has given us the reputation of being honest and trustworthy always putting the clients best interests first. Always looking to be progressive and find advantages for our clients to give them a competitive edge has assisted our client base to grow.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Supporting a diverse range of clients from all industries Australia wide.
  • Interesting and challenging work ranging from Data Centre environments, nation-wide WAN’s, physical and cloud based infrastructure and SAAS applications.
  • Advancement of your skills by working with current and emerging Cloud Technologies.
  • Escalation point within the team for complex technical issues.

 

Skills and experience

  • Formal certifications and proven experience in the following technologies would he highly favourable;
  • Microsoft
  • VMware
  • Cisco
  • Fortinet
  • Mitel Orange
  • Knowledge of PowerShell and scripting experience would greatly benefit you in this role.
  • SharePoint experience would be highly valued
  • ITIL certification or experience is desirable
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Flexibility and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills

This is a Technical Direct Support Role (TD2) level at $61,260 plus super. Salary will be based on experience.
